Wonderful tavern in an almost fairytale setting right on Lake Starnberg. It just looks phenomenal here in any weather. The rustic decor and atmosphere in the parlor is really great. The food is also priced for the location and the quality is very good. Both the soup and the schnitzel were delicious. I would especially like to highlight the steamed noodles that are served there, that was actually the best steamed noodle of my life that I have eaten so far! Unfortunately you never get to try everything, but from what I heard from the rest of the audience, the other dishes also tasted excellent. There were ten of us there and we got a very nice separate room with a view of the lake, the service was also very nice. I can really give a clear recommendation for everyone who comes by in the area!

Very nice sitting and eating by the lake! All dishes are freshly prepared and tasty, and that at extremely attractive prices. Courteous and fast service, which was always friendly and nice despite the good workload. Thank you for 2 wonderful evenings and a lunch at the lake - really to be recommended

Wasn't inside yet, but sometimes I'm right in front of it while sailing and admire the wonderful location, plus the huge parking lot. The food should be good and expensive, the service is a matter of luck, depending on the mood of the staff. I'll probably try out what's right soon.

Food great, priced rather high. There is a bit of a problem with the organization: almost 10 minutes waiting time to be brought to the table (despite reservation) and the drinks were only brought after the meal.

Beautiful, great food, direct access to the lake. We celebrated our civil wedding at the Buchscharner Seewirt, it was wonderful and exactly as we expected. Everyone was enthusiastic about the location, the food and the good service. We'll definitely be back soon :-)

A very nice place for me. The view from the terrace of the lake is beautiful. The food is very well seasoned and the selection of drinks is wonderful. You can spend a whole day on the meadow in front of the lake and then have a meal at Buchscharner

The food is very tasty and you eat right on the lake with a great view. The prices are OK. There are only 3 points because the food was served incorrectly and the drink was forgotten. To address this again, which was almost impossible, since no waiter came, although there were enough and one made verbal and non-verbal noticeable.

Very nice view and enough space for all guests. Prices are an average of € 11 per dish. Beverage selection is also good but still expandable. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is typically relaxed

Wanted to reserve a table there, as we liked the location very much. Unfortunately, we were turned away in a very unfriendly manner and will not go there again. You can also just politely say that you are fully booked. What a shame....

Pretty place on the lake in front of the old farmhouse. The food quality is good, the service quick and friendly. The prices are rather high.

Great place, delicious food and remarkable choice of beverages

Great beer garden with delicious food We ate very tasty this afternoon and cheap for Starnberg conditions. The card has a good mix. From liver cheese to veal plums, sausage salad to Kaiserschmarn. There was also currywurst and schnitzel. The service was very very nice. And all this in the great late sun with a good view of the lake.

Love the food, the view and the service. It's a very nice place to lunch, take cake or coffee on a sunny day!

One of the most beautiful places to enjoy the sunset over the Starnberg lake. An old Austrian farm house rebuilt on the lake shore with very good restaurant and beergarden.

Wonderful setting overlooking lake

This Biergarten with Restaurant is probably the best one at Lake Starnberg. I tell you why. The place itself is great! Sitting under a umbrella because of the sun on hard wood chairs looking at the lake is a gift for you. On the left and right you’ve got trees but in the middle a place next to the the lake where we played football with #Bigfoot & #Littlefeet - before sunset. Food - we all took Schnitzel with Bratkartoffeln and a separate salad - was ok. It’s not great but also no desaster. Seriously the place is great for the weekend, especially sundays when you are searching for a quite good and amazing place.

A great restaurant with direct access to the lake!

Just delicious food And beverages. The problem is they don't have english menu. So you have yo trust in the waiters help. But the sightseen definetily worth it and if it Is summer you can perfectly go swimming. Do not forger to keep a space free for dessert, try the sampler platter! 😱😋

I love the food there, the seasonal suggestion of the day is always good. The service is also great and if you want to make an event there I highly recommend. I celebrated my wedding there and it was perfect!

Nice location, also and view. Food is tasty, but not delicious, therefore prices are little bit expensive. Portions are normal. @Buchscharner Wirt, improve the food, or decrease cca. 15% your prices.
